“Our large room was very spacious and it had a nice homely feel. The bed was very comfortable and the right size. There was also a decent back patio to enjoy our private dinner. Window and patio door opens wide to allow sufficient ventilation into our room. The room is clean and tidy including the bedding. There was enough space to store our luggage including our belongings. “On arrival, we were shown to the "penthouse", a twin room on the third floor. The large bedroom light worked, but none of the smaller, bedside lights worked, so not great at night - totally or all nothing. Floor-space in the room was significantly compromised by a dismantled wooden bed-frame cluttering up the room. The toilet adjacent to our room was ok but we were told that the shower room was not usable so we had to use one on the lower floor (which was for several other rooms). My partner...

“It’s basic but it’s clean, bed was good, shower had good pressure and hot water, and my room was quiet. Some blackouts curtains would have been nice but other than that, for the rate, I couldn’t fault it. I am actually booking it again right now.”
