"We loved the Riu Baja California. Great food and the place is beautiful with lots of great pools and close to the beach and town. The only complaints we have was that the housekeeping was the worst I’ve ever seen. They’d come in and not replace towels that were on the floor and we had to ask for new robes because they took the dirty one on the ground but never replaced. They come at really odd hours like 9pm as well. The credits you get to use at the resort isn’t what you’d expect either. They only go towards money off of certain things that you have to pay a certain amount for and it isn’t straight money to get massages etc at the resort."

"Unbeatable price point for all-inclusive. Food was fresh, but most things were bland-- honestly better than expected based on the price. Every meal had amazing fresh fruit and veggies. Liquor seemed watered down, but that's how we feel at all the all-inclusive resorts! Lots to do, so all ages can enjoy. Room was very clean! The vast majority of staff spoke no English, so they seem to avoid any kind of eye contact. Parties are geared toward the 18-25 crowd... and that's definitely the predominant age bracket. Be prepared for a lot of walking... resort is HUGE"

"We had an amazing stay at this resort. The property was beautiful, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The service was outstanding, and the staff truly made us feel welcome throughout our entire stay. A special thank you to Nayeli and Jasmine for their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail — they truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. This team made our trip extra special, and we highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cabo!"

"Our room was very clean and we received an upgrade for no extra charge with a beautiful view of the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our complaint was the food options available for vegetarian and gluten free dietary needs. Salads were basically all that was available. There were some gluten free bread or rolls offered at the cafe style restaurant but they were very dry. No gluten free buns for burgers or sandwiches, no gluten free pizza. No vegetarian sandwich options. We realize that seafood is the main food offered, but options are needed."

Nobu Hotel Los Cabos

"Deeply disappointing stay for what is marketed as a luxury hotel. TLDR: Nobu excels as a restaurant, but the hotel side is nowhere near the standard of true luxury brands. We chose it for our 40th anniversary and immediately regretted it. Hot water issues: We had no hot water for 2 of 4 nights. Management never took ownership. The ambassador sent maintenance repeatedly until they eventually brought in a portable water heater so we could shower. After that, no follow‑up and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Misleading spa credit: We arrived with a spa credit that the hotel restricted to a single short massage and nothing else. Additional fees were added, and when we asked for clarification, we were told to contact the booking site. No effort to assist. Dietary accommodation failure: Staff acknowledged our restriction at every meal, yet still served a dish containing an ingredient we had clearly said we could not eat. At a true luxury property, this would have been corrected immediately and proactively. Here, it wasn’t even addressed. Token gesture from management: As first‑time guests celebrating a milestone, we expected the hotel to make things right. The gesture offered at checkout was so minimal it felt dismissive rather than helpful. Bottom line: Exceptional food, but shockingly poor hospitality. Nobu may run a world‑class restaurant, but the hotel experience falls far below luxury standards. We’ll return to our usual brands on future trips to Cabo."
