“The room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. The room also had a large comfortable sofa. We were unaware that the room was in the basement level, so natural light was limited to large window wells. I would book upper level rooms next time. The staff was excellent; helpful and friendly. We had breakfast in the cafe which had a fairly small menu, but the food was fresh and very good.”

“Facility is VERY old and worn, photos are from a very long time ago, room smelled of mildew and cigarettes, the floor was filthy, the pool is closed and from the looks of it, has been closed for a very long time,”

Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available. Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night.”

“We had a comfy stay at the Nautical Nest. Check-in was super easy. The room was clean and spacious. The AC unit helped keep the room cool on a hot day but turned off and on during the night which is a helpful energy saver but not great for sleep. Would stay here again.”
