Unfortunately there was water leaking from the bottom of the toilet, the walls of the rooms were paper thin (meaning we could hear all the conversations happening in other rooms beside us). “The bed was so comfortable and the staff were so kind and helpful to me when I thought I had lost my phone! It was in my hoodie pocket! They even helped me get up a steep step by giving me a hand.! They also retrieved a bottle of water my husband had left in the fridge. If I could give the staff a six rating I would!”

“BEWARE I gave this hotel a poor rating because of 2 major issues. A shame as otherwise the property presented well and are easily fixable. Firstly, the beds were so hard that I tossed and turned all night and woke up with sore hips on both sides as I’m a side sleeper. Maybe that will work for you if you prefer a rock hard bed and sleep on your back. Too bad as the room was nice, clean and the bedding good. But secondly and much more importantly, ROKU !!! “My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the 1 bedroom cottage (1 Bluejay). It was perfect! The cottage was clean, it had everything we needed. The king bed was comfy and the deck overlooking the water was relaxing and serene. We’ll be back!”

“My family had an amazing stay at The Shores of Deer Lake. The property was clean and quiet. There was a lot of space for my daughter and dog to play. Having the lake as our backyard was amazing. Bonus.. there was the perfect little beach just steps away from our door. The water was warm and calm enough to canoe and kayak in. We also met some amazing people which made our stay even more memorable. We will definitely be booking again.”
