"The property is beautiful surrounded by a lush forest which brings around wildlife (including some monkeys that can be a bit invasive). The tram at Bunga Raya was really a pleasure, with smiles and warm hospitality. We do have to warn of the sand flies, which left my husband with over 60 bites on his back even after applying repellent (I on the other hand was never bothered much, as with other guests it was a hit or miss). "The location is great—very close to Jesselton Harbor. We booked the OWD course, so it was super convenient for us—only a 3‑minute walk. There’s also a big shopping mall nearby, plus it’s easy to find the durian street, fruit market, and seafood market. The hotel price is quite cheap, and it’s clean enough. It could be a bit better, but overall, it’s all good."
