“The hotel was just right for myself &16 year old grandson's 3 day trip.We ate at restaurant several times,had spa treatments, he used weight room every day while i shopped in hotel gift shop or nearby stores.Lake Placid a short trip away with plenty of things to do as well.”

“The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use.
