“Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!”

“Great check in from courteous staff we arrived early than check in time as we were attending a nearby wedding staff were helpful leaving our cases in the room and giving us a place to change . We got back just after midnight and found the room clean with a comfy bed a good night's sleep later and the breakfast was great one of the best. Well done to all and it was a pleasure to stay there ”

“Nice hotel, we had a feature bedroom which was spacious and comfortable although it really needs handrails in the bathroom to get out of the narrow bath!. Guests can use the facilities including the pool at the sister Peebles Hydro hotel about 2 minutes drive away. Handy for walking into Peebles high street and the river walks. Good choice of meals in the bar which were reasonably priced and excellent.”
