“Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. Nice to have 2 types of pillow and book with ideas for what to do in the local area. Some of the reception spa staff were not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel (beautician was very helpful). “Stunning as usual ”

“Very nice location peaceful and quiet well appointed room, lovely walks, the continental breakfast a little underwhelming, evening meals are very good, the charge for the dog seems excessive as the room was not hoovered throughout our three day stay, internet and tv very patchy. no hot water at 9am when Hotel is fully booked ”

“We stayed here for a family wedding an I have to say Will an his staff were amazing. Nothin was ever too much trouble. The rooms were big a the beds so comfy. Would definitely stay here again and be recommending to friends”

“Fine for my one night stay. A little bit dated but reasonably near to the town centre and with its own parking. Nice breakfast including vegan options. Very friendly staff. I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used. ”
