“Was visiting family at a farm 3 miles away and chanced upon this goldmine of a b and b when scouring the area for somewhere to stay for 2 nights. Tracey is an excellent host - very hard working and most attentive. Found time to talk to all the guests even when preparing breakfasts ( well cooked , hot when needed). 5 rooms and a regular home from home - with the added bonus of Tracey who genuinely was interested to hear guests stories ( I assure you they were not complaints but to the contrary)....

“Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. Nice to have 2 types of pillow and book with ideas for what to do in the local area. Some of the reception spa staff were not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel (beautician was very helpful). “A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.”
