"Hotel is in a good location. Serving staff at breakfast were all lovely. Daniel at the bar looked after our needs too. Comfy bed and room was very clean. I would stay here again. "

"Arrived late, but the hotel had a lot of inventory so room selection should have been no problem. The front desk staff gave us our room key (room was assigned earlier in day, as far as we could tell). Room was tiny! It was also on the main road side of the hotel, so we couldn't sleep with road noise, traffic, drunk people on streets, etc. If it was peak season, I'd understand ending up in a room like this. But the hotel had ALOT of empty rooms, so maybe management should think about how they assign rooms at low inventory times of year. While there is a lift to each floor -- there are also stairs on each floor that have to be used to access about half of the rooms. For those with disabilities, make sure they put you in one of the rooms on the level with the elevator. There was a nice lounge/bar attached to hotel. Amenities were super nice. Breakfast looked like standard hotel fare (cereal and eggs) - we went around the corner to a nice cafe for breakfast. "

"Lovely stay and enjoyed the spa facilities. We ate in the bar area as we had our dog and the staff were very welcoming. The Mull scallops were delicious as was the whisky and marmalade ice cream. Great dog walking area with interesting wood carvings on the route. Would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"The location is okay, however the hotel is old and in very bad condition. The room they gave me at first had a huge window in the bathroom and no shades, also the curtain shower did not close properly and there was a ball of hair in the corner of the bathroom floor: nasty, horrible, disgusting, unacceptable. I complained and they gave me another room which was better but still bad. Breakfast was poor. I do not recommend this hotel. "
