“Really nice hotel, with supportive staff. I was very surprised with the fact that dinner included a three course meal. The dinner bed and breakfast was a very good value option Definitely better value than alternatives, such as the local Premier Inn, for those travelling through Yeovil”

“Lovely, spacious airy room, with a quaint style, a huge copper freestanding bath is in the room, room for two, such a delight! There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. Large sea kelp toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash ,bubble bath etc. Generous selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate & complimentary watercomplimentary eco- friendly. “A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. ”
