“We have stayed here for the 3rd time. It is a very relaxed place & a great stopover on our way to the Plymouth ferry to Spain. The bedroom was very spacious with a great en suite featuring a walk in shower. Our dinner in the restaurant was very good with generous portions. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, with a great choice. The staff were very friendly . We will definitely be returning for a fourth visit”

“This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....

“Sadly this property needs huge investment. The whole place is really tired. There was no on there to welcome us and they hadn’t sent us the door code so I had to phone twice before someone would pick up and then had to wait for the owner to arrive to let us in, not ideal after a long journey. We had a garden room - which had thread bare carpets with stains on, the most uncomfortable bed imaginable and it just felt dirty. I thought from the pictures this place looked ok, but I was very wrong...

“Lovely B&B the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and free parking, wi-fi and 10 mins drive to Hereford. The host Lorraine was brilliant and allowed early check in too, as we arrived early. Overall a great experience. Thanks”
