…missing a connection sucks a$$ and when you’re disgruntled and have no where to go - finding out this hotel was in this airport turned my frown upside down and I went asleep. They were able to accommodate a late check out which subsided the lack of flights out of here and having to sit for a day made it not dreadful. Basically if you get stuck in Guadalajara I would stay here.

This is the best hotel in Guadalajara. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the service is outstanding. Love everything about it. I usually stay at this hotel 3 to 4 times a year.

Clean rooms

My stay was amazing the food , the service impeccable!! Everyone was super attentive shout out to all the staff that met me at karaoke at the dreams lobby bar, “Andres”, the ladies in the coffee shop the servers in Chardonnay, and the manager from 360 !. What I liked most about my stay was the safety.! No one is getting in n out of the elevators without a room card. N you can only use your card for your floor you can’t access two room floors at once. Really Nice place, food options for breakfast buffet are fantastic, comfortable beds.

We have stayed at the Portobello several times. The room we stayed in this time seemed newly redone, I loved the room, mirrors, bathroom and bed was good too. It can get loud due to the traffic, but that’s Guadalajara. Their breakfast is pretty good with several options. It is walking distance to downtown. All in all we totally recommend the Portobello.

Excellent hotel with great food, staff and cleanliness. Will definitely book again

The hotel is definitely a hidden gem! The rooms are a great size and by far the nicest I've stayed at in Guadalajara. We were upgraded to King suite and it did not disappoint. The Hotel was literally a 1 minute walk to Downtown and the area was most definitely safe. The staff was the best part!! From the check-in staff, security, servers and to our amazing bartender Abraham!!! We will definitely be back.
