“I'm a wheelchair user but the hotel gave me a room which has a corridor with two steps. That was the only room which doesn't have wheelchair ramp. Breakfast was good and the location was good.”

“We’ve stayed at Driftwood Resport a number of times and usually have little issues. This time however I’m not sure what was going on. I think it may have been a shortage of staff but we tried to check in at 4 at check in time. We were told there were no rooms ready, to come back in a little bit. We tried 30 min later and were told the same thing. We decided to go get dinner and came back around 6pm and were still told the rooms were not ready and if we wanted to cancel we could as they didn’t...

“Seemed like a rip off. We booked a room with kitchenette. Apparently we were told to rent a kitchen box with pots/pens/cuttlery etc for an additional fee. Whats’s the point of booking a room with kitchenette without anything in it. I didn’t see anywhere on expedia that kitchenette is empty really and you have to pay more to make it usable. The room overall is dated including the kitchen appliances, no exhaust for the stove… guess you have to keep windows opened when you cook.”

“The staff had to be called multiple times to be able to check in, in the middle of the afternoon. The main room and bed was clean and fine as far as the stay. The bathtub looked filthy and we did not feel confident to shower in it. And the one amenity that is offered, the indoor hot tub, is in an enclosed room that doesnt look like it has been cleaned in months, maybe years. The chairs offered in the room were covered in mildew and The hot tub room itself was covered in mildew and it felt like...

“The only issue I had was minutes after I checked into our room, I started sneezing and smelling like there was mold. It is carpeted. The patio seemed scary to walk on to and run down. The patio door was difficult to open as I have back issues. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was good, but only have 4 tables. ”

“We stayed at Florence Lighthouse Inn and had a mixed but ultimately improved experience. Our initial room had some significant issues—the shower wasn’t working and the air vent was very noisy, which made it uncomfortable for my family. After raising our concerns, the team responded and moved us to a much better suite. “It was easy to locate, I received great communication from the property, definitely dog friendly, unique and interesting furnishings throughout the property. It’s such a peaceful and quiet place. We had a great time there—truly getting away from city life. ”

“Reserved room, stood outside for over 15 minutes - rang doorbell and called number that went straight to vm. Whoever came over the ring camera stated they don’t take reservations after 10pm. Nothing listed on website and confirmed booking and stated check in when I never checked in.”
