"We have stayed here years ago and thought we would revisit. The rooms are a little outdated and I was disappointed with a couple items. The pans for cooking were disguising. I think I would die if I ate from it. There was electrical tape used as a rack holder for the refrigerator. There was an artificial nail on the floor. The room towels were fresh and clean. The bed sheets were nice. I would not return. "

"So this hotel has 9.0 rating for some reason, and yes location staff and how clean a room is 10. But everything else is 5.0 including breakfast, room condition and design , sounds coming from neighboring rooms and street all those things are 5.0"

"Staff was friendly and the food was excellent in the restaurants. Bar was woefully under-staffed in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and ocean view decks were sheltered from the wind and of a nice size."

"We went to Jekyll Island for a Sisters Week and Hampton Inn did not disappoint! As soon as you stepped into the lobby, you could feel the warmth and friendliness. Every single staff member greeted us and we even developed friendships while there. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was always attended to and it was an excellent temperature. The breakfast had lots to offer and the boardwalk to the beach was one of our favorite spots. James, the manager, gave us lots of places to explore while on the island and he was such a pleasant person to talk to. We just loved being here and want to come back."

"I had not been informed that the building was under construction. There was a jackhammer going non stop. The shower did not get hot and it whistled. The light in the bathroom was super dim and with the shower curtain closed it was dark. The floor was as dirty. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see it so rundown."
