"This hotel is HUGE!!! It is also centrally located, about a 5min walk to the tube. 10 minute cab ride to Borough Market. There were water stains on the shower hardware, we also noticed little strands of hair on the bed and in the tub. While this was isolated to our experience, I think the cleaning staff needs to do a better job at little things like that. I also noticed dust on the floor of the wooden closet. Some of the upholstery on the chairs in Leo's bar had stains and rips, that need to be replaced. The staff is absolutely fantastic!!! The young man from Ukraine who's at the Leo bar in the morning to serve coffee was an absolute delight, so was Melinda- she is so sweet and a great server. Priya at the front desk is the MVP!!! She should be promoted and tasked with training new hires on what Proper Hospitality looks like from a reputable hotel. My mom has lung disease & uses an oxygen pump due to physical exertion- we asked for a room closer to the entrance and Priya made it happen after an employee the day before told us no. It's that level of empathy and compassion that sets her apart from the rest. Thank you for a lovely & enjoyable stay."
