โGood size room, very comfy bed. Staff friendly but somewhat convoluted online check in. Water pressure was low but sufficient. Sadly no breakfast on offer currently as place is being refurbished. But in spite of the issues, I will be back when I'm in the area and see what it's like after the refurb is complete.โ
โArrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away.
Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasnโt an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as.
I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. โ
โOK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra ยฃ50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved.
