Late afternoon hike in Mt. Takao
The view from the top of Mount Takao. You can hike up the mountain by various trails (about 4km). Or you can take a lift or the mountain rail, without any climbing. The mountain is popular throughout the year, located only an hour away from Shinjuku. I would suggest going during the week, if you don't like crowds. If you're lucky, you can even see Mount Fuji from here. Closest Station: Takaosan-guchi Station on the Keio Line. #Hiking #Mountain #Takao #Tokyo #Japan

Breakfast option not good - overpriced, medium quality (in a Sizzler?). Lounge drinks ver overpriced. Great otherwise. Interesting room layout, views great from upper floors but windows on the small side. Excellent staff and service.
