“We had a lovely time staying at the Hanbury Townhouse, and it was the perfect base for us. We wanted to explore East London and the markets rather than heading to the tourist spots, so this was perfect. We were within a 30 minute walk of Broadway Market on Saturday and Colombia Road Market on Sunday, and it was just perfect for what we wanted. “honestly, very disappointing. I'm not a picky person and usually don't leave any reviews but this time, I had to. I checked-in after midnight. The room was extremely noisy because of the club (or a pub) downstairs. so i asked to change the room and they did. But the room was a smoking room and they didn't even mentioned or asked before switching. One more thing. Normally, other hotels only hold the deposit, not charging. But they've charged 100 ￡ deposit when I checked-in and refunded...

“The best part was the location—literally a 3-minute walk from the station, which was super convenient. The neighborhood felt safe and lively, even at night, with pubs and a gas station nearby. The staff were all really nice, and they did a great job cleaning whenever I asked. The building itself is a bit older, so if you're looking for a brand-new hotels, this might not be it. But it honestly wasn't a big deal, and I'd totally consider staying here again!”
