“We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”

“Perfect, comfortable stay in central Bristol. Spacious, clean rooms with huge shower and beds and well-functioning A/C (essential in a heatwave!). The hotel is a short walk from Cabot Circus, King Street etc. making it perfect for a girls night out, with discounted off road parking available too. Didn’t have food at the hotel during our stay so cannot comment on that, but we got a free glass of Prosecco each which was divine! One of the towels was quite frayed and had holes and a few more room...

“Stayed here Mon-Fri. My initial opinion of this place was very good. Staff were very friendly and appeared efficient. Check-in was easy. Rooms are very good with a ceiling fan and additional tower fan in the room which was helpful during the recent spell of hot weather. Breakfast was good. Couldn’t connect my laptop to their wifi so had to use mobile network. Food in the restaurant was good and delivered piping hot but service is slow and food is a bit pricey. “Fire in the hotel kitchen, building full of smoke so had to be evacuated at 0300 until 0730 2 fire engine on scene. Have to question whether fire safety was all it could be and given the layout of the rooms up narrow staircases it’s not a building we’d want to be in again during a fire. Staff were helpful, rooms clean and newly refurbished. No offer of refund or apology from hotel however.”

“한국에서도 목시는 꼭 가보고 싶었는데, 브리스톨에 와서 숙박했네요. 일단 합리적인 가격이라 너무 좋았습니다. 힙하고 트렌디한 느낌은 브리스톨과 더욱 잘 어울렸고, 무척 편안하게 잘 지냈습니다. 콘센트도 220v, USC, C-type이 있어서 무척 편리했습니다. 그리고 브리스톨에서 웬만한 관광지는 도보로도 이동 가능합니다!!”

“Lovely cool and clean room on a hot day with a comfy bed and good shower with lovely shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The room was recently refurbished and there was a smeg fridge acute smeg kettle. We stayed overnight before an early flight and appreciated the continental breakfast and then a very quickly eaten cooked breakfast from 6am.”
