“So far I enjoyed my stay, but the only thing I didn’t like much was the parking lot. I meant there’s a few parking spots for compact/ midsize cars but for big trucks with trailers there’s none. ( Ouray is very touristy for people with utv’s, should it be expected big cars with pulling trailers) We had to park somewhere else because not enough space.”
“This was an amazingly well kept inn and very clean. We chose it because it is pet friendly, and Steve the owner is attentive to human and animal needs. The view from the Aspen room was amazing.”
“I liked the style of the house and the decorations. I loved the concept of eating breakfast at the dinner table with other guests. My only complaint was that we did not know how to get tv stations on our nice TV. The instructions on the tv were not helpful. It was the inn keeper’s day off. We were given instructions on how to contact her if there were any problems, which we decided not to do. ”
“Very nice stay. It has a family feel in ownership, very kind. Room was clean, good amenities, nice extras like a group sitting area with a gas fire pit. Sits on a creek, need to get close to the bank for a view but it is literally about 20 feet from the social area. Close walk to Main St. and to restaurants on 7th, both within a 100 foot walk. Ok, me and the missus just discussed what was wrong (I hate all one sided reviews), so hear it goes. A couple of loungers or ADK chairs on the slope...
“Tons of charm and great character. The room was comfortable and clean. The spa downstairs is really wonderful and the sauna was like new and got nice and hot. Much needed after a hard day of hiking. The bar and restaurant were good and the outdoor patio with heaters was great for unwinding and watching the sunset and mountains. Best of all was the staff. Super helpful and everyone is willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests have the best possible experience. Shout out to Kelly - an...
“Our room was very small with very small bathroom. That being said, it’s a very old world cool property and I would go back. The hot pool (regular size swimming pool with 100 degree water) and the vapor caves were an experience! There are only a few rooms (maybe 10 or so) which makes it nice. Easy to walk down to Main Street for restaurants and shops.”
