โThis place definitely exceeded my expectations. Room was very clean, beds were super comfortable, the shower had great water pressure. Right next to the grocery and short walk to restaurants /shops. A couple of caveats: (1) the upstairs is not accessible for wheelchair users (and likely difficult for people with mobility impairments in general); (2) there are no staff on site as far as I could tell. All that said, I would definitely stay here again. โ

โI was adventuring solo for a few days and stayed in the 3-bed hostel room at the Avon. The room was small but the bed was comfy, the amenities were nice (i.e. towels and toiletries in the bathroom), and the staff was welcoming and helpful. It is a funky, cozy, old-timey spot in the mountains, with a covered porch with rocking chairs so you can sit outside and look at the mountains winding down after a day of hiking or having your morning coffee. โBeautiful hotel. Very clean and check in was the easiest and friendly as could be. Itโs nice knowing that a hotel isnโt waiting at the desk charging you a crazy deposit and holding money like youโre going to trash the place. I loved the honest approach to check in and I felt safe and secure. Would stay here again. โ
โThe hotel is in a very good location in central Telluride. Our room is very nice and clean. The best part is that I developed severe back pain and the night manager helped me with his own heat pad. When that didnโt help, he called an ambulance to take me to the emergency facility. When I was better and back in the room, the hotel let us extend our stay 1 more night. We would definitely recommend the hotel. โ
