โI love the renovated older motel. It reminded me of stays with my family when I was just a kid. They have certainly brought that feeling into the present.โ
โBeautiful house and delicious breakfast! We loved staying here. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated hearing the history of the house and Durango at breakfast.โ
โNot sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend.โ
โvery impressed, really glad I chose this spot, way out of my expectation for Holiday Inn, the breakfast was awesome and I love the viewsand the Riverwalk is gorgeousโ
โEverything was fine, clean rooms, my keys and paperwork were already organized when I arrived so check-in went quickly, breakfast was simple but good. The hotel was full or nearly full so parking was a bit challenging but probably just enough spaces if you didn't mind parking further from your room.โ
โWe had to make a last minute reservation as we were traveling through and a little afraid based on some of the other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised as the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the employees very nice. We both a a great night sleep and could finish our road trip the next morning. โ
โOdd that the the property has an airport shuttle but guests are not allowed to use it. It is meant only for the airline staff apparently. We have to fend for ourselves with the never available taxis and Uber. โ
