“Place was nice. Loves the hot tub and fire pit area. It doesn't have AC but they do have fans you can put on the windows which is all you need.”

“As there are no phones in room I tried telephoning front desk on cellphone with WiFi calling and droped calls both times. The sound insulation between rooms was poor. The WiFi was poor and buffering so often that I gave watching show on iPhone. For a room that carries the cost of Chipeta Resort I found the WiFi and amenities inadequate. Front office staff when checking out seemed as if I was interrupting her. No “how was your stay” nor “thanks for staying with us.””

“The hotel was beautiful. The stay was great, but the cleanliness of the rooms were terrible. There was red hair all on the walls in the bath tub that do not belong to us. We do not have red hair! Super gross. The previous family that stayed left behind a pink container with a bunch of snacks in containers. How long was that there for I don’t know I could not believe it. I don’t think my room was cleaned and checked before my families stay.”

“Black Bear Manor is super charming!! Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location is the best of both worlds—just a little bit off Main Street, so you’re close to everything but it’s quieter. We arrived early, parked before check-in, and walked to a trail! By the time we got back, December had our room ready early (the best surprise after a hike!) “We’ve stayed at The Peaks on several occasions, and sadly, this trip was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we checked in, the experience was poor. The front desk employee was curt and provided virtually no information about the hotel or amenities. We weren’t told that the pool was under construction, the waterslide was closed, the game room was closed, or that the restaurant wasn’t open. We weren’t given the Wi-Fi password, told where to find breakfast or what the coffee shop offered,...
