“This is an okay place to stay while visiting St Leonard’s and Hastings. It seems to be a family-run place and full breakfast is provided and is good.Quick walk to the train and to the beach and laundromat. Some improvements have been made to the property which are cosmetic and actually quite silly. There was an attempt to make this old hotel look opulent while neglecting things like upgraded beds and bedding, soundproofing rooms, replacing broken window seals and fresh paint on the exterior....

“런던 경유로 공항 근처에서 머물려고 골랐어요. 근데 시내랑은 너무 멀고 숙소 근처에는 정말 아무것도 없어요. 심지어 차도 밖에 없어서 산책도 못함. 방 크기는 가격 대비 생각보다 되게 넓어요. 근데 보통의 저렴한 모텔에도 있는 기본적인 서플리먼트가 없었어요. 메이드가 깜빡한건지는 모르겠지만 물, 일회용 치역 칫솔, 슬리퍼 어떤 것도 없었음. 근데 만약에 차를 가지고 다니는 사람이라면 공항 근처라 하루 머물기에는 나쁘지 않을 것 같네요.”

“This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. “Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go. Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend.”

So neither I or my wife could have a shower that evening or the next morning ( today ) .
