"Staff were lovely and always very welcoming and friendly but the room was not very nice at all. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the road noise into the room made it very difficult to sleep. The carpets in the room felt very aged which were quite stained as well as the ironing board being dirty which made me hesitant to use it."

"This is our third stay at the hotel, and we always find it enjoyable and great value. Our only criticism this time would be that they were quite slow to replenish the breakfast buffet, despite us having breakfast during one of the earlier, quieter slots. All staff were friendly and helpful and clearly working hard, but our experience at the Drayton Manor theme park later that day led us to suspect there may be a resort wide issue with staffing levels, which is a shame because that was the only thing that prevented our stay being rated five stars."
