"Definitely a stylish hotel with cool decor. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Free breakfast was included, on the roof, which was pleasant. Our room had a view of the Hollywood sign (in the distance) which we loved.
On the downside, the rooftop bar is only open Thurs-Sat. It was not clear when the downstairs restaurant/bar was open. It was closed on a Monday when we were there. As women travelers, we did not feel safe walking to a restaurant in the area at night (but Uber/Lyfts were ample!). At any rate, it's an Argentinian steakhouse so the options were not very broad unless you like a lot of grilled meat.
There was a general lack of attention to detail in the room-- the room phone would not connect to the front desk, a light was out, an outlet did not work, and the wifi password was not shared in the room. If you're used to really nice hotels, you might feel some rub, but if you aren't bothered by the little things, you'll enjoy your time here."
