โWe recently enjoyed our holiday stay at the Lindisfarne bed and breakfast in Stromness. This was our first visit to the Orkney Islands and we stayed there for two weeks. Kevin and Debbie were our host's at the B and B. They both looked after us superbly. The quality of the accommodation was excellent and the breakfast was generous and delicious. We will most certainly be returning and cannot find the word's to thank both Debbie and Kevin for their fantastic hospitality. โ
โPros: Friendly staff. Fantastic English breakfast. Great location, walking distance from the ferry terminal and all stores near the Stronmess waterfront. Even without an elevator, the parking location made it easy to access the room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Showers had nice high water pressure that gave a massage feeling.
Cons: The building is historic, so the floors had older carpet. Newer flooring, e.g. newer carpet or luxury vinyl plank could improve the stay experience.

โWe were in The Shore room 14, not part of main property which was still great except for the staining from water damage on the ceiling directly over the head of the bed. โ
โThe Manager makes you feel right at home , first name terms and genuinely interested in how you day has been . Service was excellent. The food was fresh, scallops were caught at 4 every day .โ
โThe staff were amazing. They couldnโt do enough for us. We had a lovely dinner. We were cycling and they made a space for us to store our bikes safely inside which was very kind. Lovely experience.โ

โThe Ferry Inn is a combination hotel/pub with breakfast included on our booking. We ate dinner both nights in the pub restaurant. The food was good & they had several choices for each course. The location was excellent for the Scrabaster/Stromness ferry & it was easy to navigate to Kirkwall & all the sights.โ
โThis guesthouse has everything you need. It was immaculate, the breakfast was outstanding. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough. Great location for exploring. โ
