“The furniture in the room was old fashioned and knocked around. The bed was a double and to small for two people. It was also ultra soft and rolled to the middle. Shower was good and powerfull, only had to climb over the bath. Toilet roll cheap. Ok for a cheap night with no luxuries but nothing flashy. Stayed 2 nights and both evenings had to got back to reception for the key card to be reactivated and receptionist had dissapeared. Didn't use any of the other facilities.”

The bad: Probably my incorrect expectations but was expecting room AC for a 4* The ugly: Brave the unlit path, if you dare, to get to the Chineham shopping centre. No fault of the hotel but Hampshire County Council should sort this out as its an accident waiting to happen! ”

“This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. “This used to be my school until 1982 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful hotel with great amenities in amazing grounds. Ample parking and a safe environment leads to a peaceful and relaxing stay. ”
