"Have stayed at this motel off and on for the last 20 years, since moving away from California. The reason that we stay here is the location. It is very close to family. Also, it is probably the least expensive in Irvine. The front desk staff are fabulous. They are all friendly, courteous, professional, respectful, and helpful. The motel has needed to be remodeled for the last 20 years. The building outside has been painted and looks like a brand new building. The lobby is very nice. The carpeting in the hallways is so old and smells bad. The rooms have not been remodeled at all. Lighting in the rooms is poor. Carpet in the rooms is old. Smells bad. Parking in the lot used to be free. Now you pay. Laundry used to be free. Now you pay. Washers and dryers are ancient and smell bad. The gym is nice though. The one positive feature is that it is next door to Hoge Hospital."
