"Lovely stay at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were a good size and had been fitted with AC which was very necessary. You could book out the paddle boards, kayaks and bikes for an hour for free. The hotel does get a bit busy during the day as people come for day trips but they leave at 2:30 and then it gets pretty quiet again. I think the pool and beach area could be a little better taken care of but overall it was a great stay."

"The rooms were large and comfortable, we had a suite which had excellent views of the sea and pool. The pool was always clean and quiet (until local arrived at 17:00). The breakfast was ok - limited choice, restaurant was always quiet at night - food was good and ok price. Avoid the beach as you will be harassed every second."

"Absolutely gorgeous property! The staff could not have been more attentive, kind and welcoming. The beach was clean and workers readily available to provide towels, drinks and snacks. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was delightful with a variety of offerings daily. I can’t say enough good about Sofitel Baru. I can’t wait to come back!"
