“Beautiful room, tremendous view, lots of little touches, e.g. binoculars on the window ledge, dressing gown and slippers, a dram left on the window ledge, a proper bottle of milk left in the fridge, a wee bottle of irn bru, energy bars….. and the list goes on! So very thoughtful. We had the opportunity to speak to both Peter and Nicola and they were genuinely interested in us having a great time, which we did. “What a great little place! It's perfect if you need a home-base and want to tour around the area. It's simple but lovely and well maintained. So clean! Alan, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and not just about the area! He has geology knowledge upon food recommendations upon hiking/walking/climbing trails. We got a lovely reception as soon as we arrived. It isn't fancy but the atmosphere and service are 5 star. ”

“the view was astonishing. worth a one night stay. but the manager wasn't very friendly. didn't even inform when is the breakfast time or check out time etc when check-in. we asked for blanket and sheet for the sofa bed, but he unnecessarily said since we are two people staying, they didn't make the sofa bed. and reluctantly said they would send the blanket implying only blanket can be provided. but sheet and the blanket came, but i don't understand why they were reluctant to supply these cause...
