  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We did a weekend trip and had the most amazing time, my kids love the cabin, playground and the beach area. The beds were super comfortable, cabins were impeccable. We will visit again for sure!

Fabulous resort in Lake George. Best cleaning condition, excellent lake view and warm welcome from the staffs. This would be your best choice on a long weekend departing from New York.

Loved my stay at Thus beautiful place! The lakefront rooms were amazing with full view of the lake and the people at the front desk were amazing, Riley and Tyler from management were so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back!!

Great view of the lake. Cute efficiency we only stayed for the night and left early but no complaints would stay again and would like to check out the cabins and property more next stay!

Great place to stay

Depe Dene has become the main place that we stay when we visit the lake. It’s not fancy, but offers everything that we would need and is always clean. We appreciate the amenities that the resort offers and the ease of knowing we can find a place with plenty of space to comfortably sleep our family of 6.

Car show weekend

The resort is a bunch of cabins and motel rooms. It has seen some updates recently, probably needs a few more in the cabins at least but overall it was clean. Being a car show weekend it was not overly expensive and the location is beautiful!

We loved the place!! It was so nice. Just a couple minutes outside of town. Which we liked. The place was clean and a good size. We rented a two bedroom. It had a fully stocked kitchen and cozy living room. All of the beds including the buck beds were very comfortable. I loved the private beach! We are decently coming back for a long visit and stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable, and attractive lakeside lodging facility. Great lake views and access. Kitchenette had updated appliances. Air conditioning and wifi worked very well. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking was easy although the access drive could use some attention. Although the bedroom had light-reducing blinds, it would have benefited from blackout curtains. The kitchen facilities included large dinner plates, large glasses, silverware, and pots and pans, but we would also have liked smaller salad plates, juice glasses, and pot holders.

Can’t wait to come back!

Love the atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Our room was large and spotless, bathroom could use a little updating but fully functional. The beach and pool area were great. Less than 10 minutes into town, which has plenty to do. We have already started planning our next trip back
