The Whaler Resort Kaanapali Beach

"We really enjoyed every day of our 16 day stay in the Whaler Resort. The studio condo was nicely remodeled and tastefully decorated. It was comfortable and generously equipped with home and kitchen necessities. The Whaler's staff was professional and helpful. The only maintenance problem we had was accidental (the bed frame was left unlocked at one of the corners, which made the bed squeaky) and it was swiftly diagnosed and repaired by dexterous Casey from the maintenance department. Additional thanks to the reservation specialist Kapua Nakoa, who was attentive to all our requests and reserved for us such a condo that made our vacation really enjoyable!"

"All around a great experience- everything was mostly as expected. Ran into that little technicality of an “ocean view room”. The ocean was there and you could view it from the lanai if you stood in the right spot and cranked your neck around. I saw more of the mountains and courtyard- still better than looking at a parking lot. Dukes was great for dinner- though on the last night we waited for two hours and they lost our reservation, claimed they sent a text that still has never arrived. Pizza joint down the street was pretty good, just not the experience we hoped for on our last night. That said, our room was clean and felt luxurious, the grounds are lovely, the pools were a ton of fun and the staff was friendly and helpful. Easy beach access, were you can catch a perfect view of the sunset and moonrise. 100 percent would stay here again- next time I’m booking oceanfront!"

"We love the Maui Kaanapali Villas! It is quiet (very important to us), right on the beach--you walk out your door and you are steps from the water, the convenience of condo living with the combination of an onsite restaurant when we need it. The morning coffee service is lovely as well."

"Best part of the Napili beach is in front of the property. Very popular with families. Amazing sunsets. Only negative i can find is morning “breakfast” many years ago was richer."

"Very happy with the location - it was larger than expected and as convenient as we recalled. The room was larger than we expected and we had the loft! Expected a king and 2 twin bedroom and ended up with a king and queen bdrm plus the sofa bed and a loft with a queen and 2 twin. Could have slept 10 - a pleasant surprise. Only request would be to have the king bed replaced and air conditioning in the loft!"

"I had a great stay in Maui! The location of this place is fantastic! The beach is quiet and beautiful. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The one time I went to the pool it was warm, clean, fun. My room was also wonderful, with a very comfy bed, kitchen, nice bathroom and view of the ocean from the balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!"
