“I experienced some minor glitches which was resolved and I would like to stay here again on my next visit. The room, especially bathroom was very clean, air conditioning was in good working order and the bed was very comfortable. I am unsure though why they have stopped supplying the little 2-pack biscuits to go with your tea or coffee and glad I didn’t have the kids with me cos they love it🤔. The reception staff were polite, professional, friendly and helpful.👍

“We stayed in the suite and it was so beautiful we booked for an hour there night.
Friendly and helpful staff and our room was clean and cosy.
Breakfast was okay, but would've like to have seen a selection of mini cakes/biscuits and fresh fruits to the selection, just to give more of a variety and also some fresh juice in addition to the cordial, tea and coffee on offer.
However an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would love to return. ”
“There was lots of parking available. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out where our room could be found and where the spa could be accessed near our room. Having three single beds in one room is a really good idea for three adults to share - I went with my two daughters and none of us wanted to share a double bed so three singles in a room was exactly what we needed. “I can’t believe this even until now, but there was mould on the duvet cover... Seriously? Yes. Fortunately the receptionist changed the duvet cover but still there was a hair on the mattress and the pillow. Better not to expect the cleanliness here. ”
“I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!”
