โAbsolutely adorable historical guesthouse. The hostess was very helpful pointing out restaurants nearby and showing off the history of the hotel.
The only thing I would change is to reduce the number of "plug-ins" as the scent was a little overpowering. We unplugged the one in our room and opened the window for a while, making it more to our liking. I would definitely stay here again. โ
โWe had a good stay. I called the property to tell that we are going to be late. When we got there, the staff in charge got us settled in less than 5 mins. I should have gotten her name. She was so nice. It was a wonderful stay. โ
โBooked 4 rooms for this hotel 8/19 night and arrived late in the night but only 2 rooms were left for staying over the night. Asked to staff at front but he replied that it was the contract between you and hotels.com and he couldn't help me anymore. 2 rooms were sold to another visitors and no explanation for me in prior to arrival at hotel. โI love the beautiful scenery and how clean everything was
My only concern is that we didn't get clean towels or room service the whole time we were there. We saw the cleaning staff on our floor, but it looked as if they were only cleaning the vacant rooms. Had to use the same towels for 3 days ๐๐!โ
โThe daily breakfast was delicious. Room and grounds were clean and well maintained. We was nice having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a living area.โ
โIve stayed at this hotel many times ive always enjoyed my stay friendly people nice kept up hotel. Free breakfast is a plus and always delicious.i dont care for the pool for adults yeah, But not for kids. But overall great hotel .โ
โPros: Hotel has fresh paint and new carpeting and furnishings. Breakfast was hot and good, the usual breakfast for this hotel chain. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, linens and furniture are new, and room was spacious with two queen beds and a full size sofa sleeper. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Hotel is under renovation but was not noisy or disruptive. Because the hotel is under renovation the pool is currently closed.
Walls are thin and the kids in the room next door were loud.
