“Beautiful place, lovely surroundings. Clean and tidy rooms, excellent breakfast. Will definitely be back when we get chance.”

“Room was large, big bathtub. One corner of the room had moisture damage, and mold, perhaps from a roof leak or condensation. Pub was cosy. Food tasty. There is nothing else to do in Sandhutton. A critter scampering, and chewing in the attic above our room kept us awake most of the night. ”

Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there.”

“I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. ”

“Lovely clean room with a nice bathroom. Perfect for a short stay. Came with tea/coffee, a television and free WI-FI. No mini fridge. We didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of hot food and a continental breakfast. No road noise or unusual bumps in the night so had a wonderful, peaceful sleep. Useful parking at the rear of hotel and easy access to the town of Thirsk. Overall a lovely stay. Lovely staff. Lovely food and a lovely part of the world. ”
