“Clean”

“Charming hotel perfectly situated near the train station and a close to the beach and Old City. The staff are wonderful, and the rooms are very comfortable….an excellent shower and very good mattress plus high quality linens. One of the best breakfasts as well with made to order dishes and a good selection of breads, cakes and pastries. Will definitely be back!”

“I really enjoyed my stay at Gounod Hotel in Nice. The location was perfect — it’s right between the train station and the beach, so it was very convenient for getting around the city. The hotel has recently been renovated, so everything felt clean and fresh. Before my trip, I emailed the hotel with some questions, and their responses were very clear and professional, which gave me a good impression even before arriving. The room itself was very comfortable. I especially liked the large bathtub...

“The chamber maid needs training on how to make a bed (crinkled slept in sheets) Reception staff. Excellent especially Deborah who couldn’t do enough for my wife. Breakfasts excellent”

“This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The room was dirty and the staff seemed disorganized and unprepared. While the location near the station sounds convenient on paper, the street itself is a serious problem: the building next door appears to be a hub for drug activity, with addicts constantly coming and going. They gather in groups right at the hotel entrance and along the street, which makes the area feel genuinely unsafe, especially at night. It felt like tourists were being...
