“The Guest house was ok, in a great location but the double bed in the family room (room 5) was very uncomfortable to the point it was useless. I would stay again and hope to return to the area in the near future as family live nearby but the bed issue would have to be sorted.”

“Lovely spacious room, brilliant location in the heart of the Forest of Dean (we saw wild boar in broad daylight, just outside the hotel). Excellent meal in the the dining room in the evening of our stay. Online check-in didn't seem to have worked, but this may not have been the hotel's fault.”

“From the outside the hotel looked like any other country hotel, but once you step inside you almost notice straight away how tired looking the whole hotel is, the interior doors, the wallpaper. I stayed in room 17, didn’t sleep much, found the bed uncomfortable. It had a ‘smart tv’, well nothing smart about that tv , it kept going off and then on again. In fact it even came on in the middle of the night. Still I thought the price I paid was a bit low for a hotel in this country nowadays, and you...
