Had a great time at this hotel. I chose it mostly because I was familiar with the area having lived there in the past, so knew it was in a Goldilocks zone. Between both cathedrals, it offers easy access to Liverpool Lime Street, shopping areas and even the docks are not an unreasonable distance while being out of the way of the most lively parts of this side of the city centre.
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic is right across the street, so if you’re into throwing stones, you could literally do just that and hit the front of the building. Personally, I’d stick to the proverbial stone’s throw which is exactly how far the Everyman Theatre is from this hotel.
My room had an open plan bathroom, so there was a lot of space making it easy for one person to soak in the bath and another to enjoy a shower. The sleeping area was a good size, comfortable and clean.
Staff there were really friendly and helpful, making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. This is definitely a hotel I would return to and recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool.
