The hotel has charming and tastefully decorated rooms, a friendly and helpful staff, and is in an upscale and attractive section of London. However, our bathroom was unusually small for most human occupants, and I don't think that it would have been been allowed in a US city. Although the hotel abutted on a charming garden, hotel guests were not allowed to use it, as it was restricted to other homeowners in adjacent town homes and apartments.
Finally, I was disappointed that the reservation that Expedia sent to us did not specify that the room rate did not include the cost of the continental breakfast, event though there was a notice in our room that stated that it did. It was only after I complained to the manager after a staff person wanted to charge us for our breakfasts that she agreed to waive the charges.
