“Staff were lovely and the room was delightful. As always, the location is perfect for walking. Service in the restaurant is friendly but has room for improvement (eg taking plates away promptly, and presenting wine at the right temperature (red wine temp was good on one day, but far too cold the next). It would be useful when booking if it were clearer that there is a restricted menu Sun - Tues. Overall, we really appreciate the welcome here.”

“Lovely Period furnishings and decor, excellent facilities, but it's the stunning view from all rooms that sets this property apart!
The only downside is the steep staircase but the host carried our bags for us which helped”
