“Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside.”

“We had a 3 course meal before hitting the theatre and casino. Hotel well situated very comfy.”

“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

“We had a one night stay because of a local wedding so decided to stay overnight at the ship inn. Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good.. Breakfast was continental with a selection of cereals & oats yogurts. I was delighted with everything and would go back again no problem 😊 ”
