"I decided on Tru by Hilton mainly due to the costs for hotels in Toronto across the 2 weeks I was there. I was unsure since it was near the airport but not close. I shouldn't have worried. The hotel shuttle was great and came with in 10 minutes late at night when I arrived, I had a slight issue with the fact I had to call and I couldn't use my phone for that but happily the hotel had provided a WhatsApp number that was answered and they were happy to book the shuttle. The hotel is fun and welcoming and with a really nice breakfast, free coffee and a small market type shop that the receptionists run it had all you needed. There was also a water fountain and ice machine. The room was spacious and comfortable for a single or 2 people, only struggle would hanger space but I was fine. Yes it it isnt n anything other than the airport but there are bus stops only 5-10 mins walk away that then take you to Mississauga and Square One or up to the Malton Go station then in to the city both were easy to navigate and i used these almost daily with a Presto card with no issue. Eating was either an uber or lyft to further along Dixie Road to Denny's or many other food options or in Toronto or Mississauga which both have plenty to choose from. Coming back at night was fine there were always workers or people waiting on buses so I felt safe enough. Probably the only issue people might have is the plane noise which is loud but you are next to an airport it isnt surprising but was fine"

"The Toronto Airport Alt Hotel is clean, quiet and convenient. It's such a joy to be a quick hop on the transfer train to the airport terminal. We were delighted to find we did not hear the airplane traffic at all in our room. The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. The staff was accommodating and polite. Definitely a 5-star experience."
