"We checked in and unpacked in our room and then went to dinner and a movie. When we returned and got into bed, there was the sound of an animal in our wall heater at 11:00pm that we could hear scratching around and maybe building a nest or eating. We tried to bang on it to scare whatever it was out but it persisted to make noise. When we called the night attendant, he didn’t check it out but did give us a new room.
But the room they gave us was about half the size compared to the room we were in, with limited furnishings and no luggage holders so our bag had to lay on the floor, giving us less space n the room. The shower head was old and the curtain allowed water to get onto the bathroom floor.
When we talked to the front desk the next morning, he acted as if we were not inconvenienced at all and said the room was the same and the most recently renovated. We were surprised there wasn’t much concern to deal with the critter in the original room. Hope no one else has to deal with that. It was room 431. They offered no discount and made us feel we were the offending party. So much for customer service."
