Views from our room of the ocean sights, sounds and smells of the water was invigorating. Historical inn with genuine and knowledgeable innkeepers. Isolated from the touristy areas. Worth the drive. Schoodic Acadia nearby. Impressive! Stay a week!”

“The staff!! I hope the owners know what they have by having Christopher there! The cleaning staff stopped and said hi and asked if the room needed anything. Christopher was witty and right on with his recommendations of places to eat. The location was great, quiet but close to everything. Rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!!”

“I loved staying at this hotel!! Room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of coffee with a coffee machine. Complimentary breakfast of good quality was served in a nice and clean restaurant. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful. If I have chances to go back to the Bar Harbor area, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommendable. ”
