10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean, and adequately maintained. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was sufficient. Parking close. Although Tesla Superchargers were not in the adjacent Holiday Inn garage, they were right next door and accessible from the garage next to Holiday Inn's closest garage. That worked out well. Reasonably priced and short walking distance to the the UC Davis Graduation ceremony at the Golden 1 Center."

"We stayed at Governor’s Inn because we were attending our daughter’s graduation. It was very close to Golden One Center. The hotel was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised that the breakfast was more than just a danish. There was something for everyone. I wish we could have enjoyed the pool but we ran out of time. I would definitely stay here again."

"Pro: very friendly and accommodating staff. Sound proofing wall Could be better: key is needed to enter the main entrance to the hotel. For guests who are. Checked in, it’s fine since they have a key card. For us who have none, waited about 10 minutes for the staff to open the door. Cons: 1. needs updating. Signs of age showing. 2. There’s a smell of pee before turning the air conditioner on.3 I have a wheelchair, the elevator wasn’t working, this made my already tired husband to lift the wheelchair. I had to climb stairs. 4. No foresight to keep some rooms open in the first floor for handicapped guests . No free breakfast."

"I will start by saying this is not a family friendly hotel! There was police at other rooms throughout the night! People were drunk walking around and at one point there were people urinating and having sexual relations in the parking lot! Room wise our bathroom door did not close! And the room had not been swept? Floor was filthy! Neighbors fighting and police came knocking and we could hear everything! Over all horrible experience it was a busy weekend so I could not find another room!"
