"Beautiful view on the lake and direct access to the walkable downtown district within 10 minutes. Didn't use amenities much and no real options for breakfast without paying high prices for a preprocessed sandwich so look to downtown for better options such as the Town Plaza. Room was adequate but wasn't able to get a King so wife and I slept separately, which I thought was odd for the shoulder season."

"The Inn is a nice place, clean and comfortable. We stayed for one night. We were not satisfied with the staff on two occasions. Our room did not have a hairdryer so we called the front desk at 8:00 am and no one answered. Waited 10 minutes and called again with the same result. I went down to the front desk and a staff member was just sitting there. Not sure why she didn’t answer the phone. Asked for a hairdryer which she had under the counter. Not sure why our room didn’t have one. Second instance was at breakfast. Breakfast is similar to other hotels, average at best. First the orange juice machine did not work so I went back to the same front desk person, told her about it and she very nonchalantly said the staff member in charge of breakfast would be there and I should ask him about it. He finally showed up about 15 minutes later and simply opened the front of the machine and flipped a switch. Then, when I opened a box of milk, I found it to be spoiled. Told the same guy in charge and he almost rolled his eyes at me. I saw him look at a few of the boxes still remaining, didn’t open any of them or replace any and walked away. Let’s hope the others were not spoiled. We did appreciate their concierge services that delivered our luggage to the ferry station for us. That was a great service. Overall a nice hotel, but our experience was not as good as it could have been."

"Great Lodge and very nicely priced. Staff was friendly and premises were clean. Rooms were modestly sized, very clean and well taken care of. Beds were very comfortable, as was the rest of the room. In my opinion, much better priced and comfortable than many of the hotels on the Mackinac City side. Will stay again."

"The hotel was situated within walking distance to the downtown area which was really convenient. We checked in without any problems and staff was very accommodating. The decor in general is lovely, colorful and inviting. My husband used the hot tub and it was very relaxing. Our meals in the restaurant were high quality. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner. This would definitely be where we would return to stay again."
