"Everything was wonderful except shower, tub, & bathroom walls needed a simple quick scrub with mold & mildew cleaner. Requested it be ckeaned 2 days in a row & nothing was done. I even explained I tried to remove a couple areas with only water & a paper towel.... which would remove 80% of it. Imagine if cleaner and 5-10 minutes of attention was used. They said "well its an old hotel"..... then proceeded to do nothing. Obvious pictures of black mold with an obvious $2 of cleaning solution presented, then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DONE is unacceptable! Super surprised everthing else could be great, then they blow it on this!"

"Dated hotel, needs upgrading. Amenities were not available & were not communicated. Happy to take our money, but not honest enough to inform us before hand that NO amenities were operational. Even tho the date was said they would be. Very disappointing, certainly dampered our stay as that’s why we primarily booked. Compensation was only offered after I had to push for. Won’t be returning due to feeling deceived, honesty hidden, no communication & overall poor service. Staff also don’t know their computer system & how to inform their customers of vital information. Showers have mould, we had curdled milk, room is in need of upgrade, did not feel like a welcomed or valued customer. "

"Paid over &1000 for a Saturday night stayed on level 31 considered a premium room with views over opera house & harbour bridge. This level of accommodation allowed me access to level 30 for afternoon tea, then canapés & unlimited wine & drinks. Then breakfast in the am. My sons room was level 8 & not allowed the privileges I had. My room was standard hotel accommodation not worth $1000. The shower had a fixed head & I would have liked a separate hose head for extra cleanliness. The staff were very helpful. Food & drinks were lovely. My room for $1000 was totally overpriced . "
