“Terrific staff, very kind and friendly. Free breakfast was good, restaurant was great for dinner. Big room with big bathroom, nicely updated.”

“The hotel was very cozy and was very close to the train station, Abbey, and Roman Baths.”

“Wonderful birthday trip for my wife. We will be back!!”

“Staff in reception was friendly.”

“The hotel is lovely and staff were very helpful indeed. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Lots of stairs so be prepared but lift is also available. Disappointed to learn after booking the hotel that I had to pay for parking each day. I think over 24 hour stays should have parking included. I would recommend this hotel but be aware it’s on a steep hill. Bus service was excellent and drops right outside.”

“There was no convenient way to use the hair dryer with a mirror making it problematic. Had to move heavy side table to use plug. The highboy doors didnt close properly and swung open on their own (needs to be fixed). The parking was interesting getting up the steep hill, but we managed.”
